In truth we feel more and more disgusted with the old rotting world, and are more and more convinced of the necessity of founding, somewhere out of the well-trodden tracks, a new centre of life in which a new and truer light can be manifested, a new world no more based on selfish competitions and egoistic strife but on general and eager endeavours to promote the welfare, knowledge and progress of all—a society based on spiritual aspiration instead of lust for money and material power.

Located amidst the serene and scenic rural regions of undivided Koraput district in Odisha, our ashrams stand as havens of natural beauty and tranquility. It is within these peaceful surroundings that the inmates engage in the best yoga practices, fostering a deep spiritual connection. Embracing the teachings of Sri Aurobindo and The Mother, the ashramites lead a life of spiritual dedication. The ashram’s core also houses a shrine dedicated to Sri Aurobindo’s relics, adding to the sacred ambiance.
In addition to the pursuit of spiritual growth, the ashrams actively promote sustainability and self-sufficiency. Organic farming and dairy activities thrive within the premises, which support the cultivation of eco-friendly practices. New and environment friendly initiatives for construction such as use of manual compress soil earthen block machine, installation of solar panels, etc. are implemented to ensure minimization of pollution hence fostering eco-consciousness. The pursuit of knowledge is paramount as ongoing research delves into various aspects of life and transformation of consciousness, guided by the principles of Sri Aurobindo and The Mother.
Beyond the ashram boundaries, we also take the effort to involve ourselves in work at the grassroots level, seeking to uplift humanity as a whole in the light of The Mother and Sri Aurobindo. Conducting study circles in nearby localities, we raise awareness about spiritual living and the transformative power of consciousness. Our mission is to inspire individuals and society at large to comprehend the purpose and meaning of life, fostering a positive and profound impact on the world. Through our efforts and dedication, we aspire to bring about a better, more enlightened future for all of humankind.
